The Velvet Onion was launched in January 2010.  The site provides promotion for a range of comedians, actors, musicians and other creative practitioners who frequently collaborate as part of an unnamed, unofficial collective.

Working directly with artists, agents, PR companies and press officers, myself and my team deliver regular updates and exclusive content, and maintain a strong social media presence – @thevelvetonion has over 12,000 fans on Twitter alone.

At present, we are in planning stages to overhaul the site – with Version 2.0 bringing a structural refresh and a raft of new and exclusive features, in-depth archives and stronger integration with our fanbase and webstores.  This is planned for Summer 2015.
